X-Men Origins: Wolverine
X-Men Origins: Wolverine poster

I saw this movie at Windchimes Cinema 8. I thought it was good, but not great like the other three X-men movies. Hugh Jackman was great like he was in the other films. I wish this movie was more of an origin story. they should have shown more of the military story. Most of the movie is about Wolverine's later life, rather than his earlier origin story. I think what makes this movie less cool, entertaining and interesting than the other three movies, is that the characters doesn't have their costumes. Gambit is the only mutant that somewhat has his costume. I think gambit had many costumes in the comic and cartoon. Taylor Kitsch didn't have the Cajun accent, which i was disappointed with. He had the accent very little bit. I only remember Deadpool having one costume and that was the black and red costume with the mask. Deadpool looked cool, but in a wierd ''this isn't right'' kind of way. Fox Messed him up a lot of ways. he needed his mask. Liev Schreiber made a good Sabretooth, but there was no connection with the Sabretooth from x-men. I didn't like that idea, because in this movie he wasn't ever called sabretooth. Only Victor Creed. Maybe he should've had short blonde hair, because sabretooth in x-men had long blonde hair. I like sabretooth from x-men more. My favorite characters are Logan / Wolverine ofcourse, Victor Creed, William Stryker, Gambit, Wade Wilson / Deadpool, Scott Summers, Emma Frost and Professor Charles Xavier. Because they are all popular and necessary to the film. I thought John Wraith, Kayla Silverfox (the love story drove me nuts, sigh), Blob, Bolt and Agent Zero were completely unnecessary for this film. The only one of those mutants that are popular is The blob, but he wasn't necessary to the overall film itself. Emma Frost should've had a much bigger role than Kayla Silverfox, because she's way more popular. Sigh, why fox why. I wish it connected to x-men more. It did a little bit at the end of the movie, but i wanted more. The name x-men in the movie title is suppose to mean something. I enjoyed it, but after i finished watching it, i wanted to watch the other three X-men movies (they're much better). I give it 4 stars.
